"Just thought you'd like to know that in this icy weather our new loft (completed Aug 2010) is the warmest room in the house! The conversion houses our new shower room and bedroom. So far, even with the radiator only turned on halfway, we have not experienced that chilly feeling around the neck and shoulders in bed that you normally associate with wintry bedrooms and, although we have a 4 Seasons duvet, we have been quite warm enough just using the autumn-weight duvet rather than the two together (which we always had to in our previous bedroom). Admittedly we have some extra warmth coming from the hot-water-cylinder cupboard at the far end of the newly converted loft room, but we put most of it down to the excellent loft conversion Pure Lofts carried out for us."
